International forum on Maths education will be hosted in KFU

International forum on Maths education will be hosted in KFU from October, 18 to October, 22.

The forum unites three important events: VII international scientific conference “Maths education in schools and universities: theory and practice”, XXXVI International scientific seminar for Maths and IT teachers and VII Regional seminar for Maths teachers.

XXXVI International scientific seminar for Maths and IT teachers is a unique event that is hosted for more than 30 years under the leadership of Alexander Mordkovich. The aim of the conference is to unite scholars’ ideas about the ways of solving problems that teacher training of Maths in schools and universities faces.

Participants of the forum are 300 educators from Russia, the USA, Mexico, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

The key speakers are Murat Choshanov, professor from El Paso University in the USA, Frederick Kastel, professor from French university of Troua, Alexander Mordkovich, an author of Maths manuals.

The forum comprises 6 main sections together with a number of workshops for all the participants.
