A representative of University of Long Island (USA) will visit Institute of psychology and education KFU to familiarize with Russian educational programs. University of Long Island offers “Education abroad”, thus the head of New York none state university visits Kazan. According to September visit it is planned to make a unilateral agreement on sending American students for teacher training to KFU. “If the level of educational programs will be appreciated by US colleagues, the first group of foreign students will be able to start the studies in about a year. At the time, we will jointly prepare new curricula adopted for American students – future teachers”, – explained Roza Valeeva, Head of Department of pedagogy, Deputy director for international activity, Institute of psychology and education, KFU. It should be noted that today Institute of psychology and education KFU within various research projects negotiates and establishes international scientific relations between universities of different countries. One of the biggest scientific projects where the Institute participates, is StrAU “Teacher of the 21^st century”. Within that project, we started collaboration with universities of Great Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, USA etc.
