The representatives of the Institute of psychology and education KFU took part in the international workshop for young scientists and researchers in Germany, organized by the Universities of Giessen and Marburg. The topic of the workshop – the system of extended education. In Russia, it is sometimes called “school after school” or “extracurricular work”. The representatives and experts from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, South Korea, Great Britain and USA also participated in the workshop. Diring the three days of workshop, all experts gave lectures on extended education in their own countries and presented cross-cultural studies on topic. Young researchers showed poster presentation and shared their research results. As a result, Russian scientists decided to make a special section “Extended education of children” in the annual Forum on Teacher Education for colleagues, who participated at the workshop in Marburg. Prof. Roza Valeeva also informed about the collective monograph that is going to be published next year in Berlin.
