Rector Ilshat Gafurov visited Moscow to partake in MSUE’s 145th anniversary celebration and sign an agreement.
The ceremony was very solemn and took place at the State Kremlin Palace. Before it started, Rector Gafurov and his counterpart Alexey Lubkov signed a cooperation agreement.
The document covers joint projects and research, conferences, mutual expertise exchange, academic visits, and internships. On KFU’s side, many facilities are ready to serve colleagues from Moscow, including the Center for Professional Practice of Elementary Education, studios of speaking and theater arts, a cinema room, and numerous model classrooms. Rector Lubkov had the chance to see everything for himself during his recent visit. He also listened to a detailed description of the KFU’s unique distributed system of teacher education. While concluding his tour of Kazan University in September, he opined that cooperation is necessary “to translate KFU’s development momentum to other Russian universities, including the oldest teaching university – MSUE”.
