On the eve of the official opening of III International Forum on Teacher Education in KFU, the Institute of psychology and education hosted the first international seminar, with the participation of the attache of the Irish Embassy in Russia for Culture and Education, professor of University Cillege Dublin (Ireland) and scientists from the University of Miami (USA) Debbiesiu Lee and Soyeong Ahn. It`s worth noting that Institute of psychology and education has been successfully cooperating with Prof. Conor Galvin – the moderator of the seminar – for a long time and has been participating in conferences and forums organized by University College Dublin. The Institute of psychology and education KFU periodically conducts training seminars for its employees, where invited foreign well-known scientists in the field of pedagogy and psychology share their experience with Russian colleagues. This time, as part of the III International Forum on Teacher Education, foreign colleagues have spoken on new technologies used for the statistical data processing in scientific research. Among other things, representatives of University of Miami told about new qualitative programs and methods for processing statistical data, as well as on conducting research where people are the objects, and what criteria can be used for the selection of certain samples.
