Several important topics were discussed by the parties in Moscow today.
Deputy Minister Valentina Pereverzeva was also present. Two of the five priority areas for KFU were talked about – teacher education and biomedicine.
As we have mentioned, the University is now the biggest pedagogical education in Tatarstan and the Volga Federal District. Research is ongoing in innovative educational technological within SAU Teacher 21 and tested at both KFU-administrated lyceums and at higher education programs. Two systems of pedagogical education are present – the classical and the distributed – where future educators are taught at both the Institute of Psychology and Education and their profiling institutes.
As for the biomedical cluster, special mention was made of practical knowledge transfer at the University Clinic and medical simulators. Further development of the Clinic and medical research was discussed. Among other matters, the parties broached the subject of pharmaceutical production with the University’s participation.
Apart from that, a question of accommodation infrastructure came up – renovations are forthcoming at all the dorms which have not yet been refurbished.
