Education and Self-Development

Education and Self-Development is a peer-reviewed journal established in June 2006, published by Kazan Federal University and founded by Valentin Andreeev, member of the Russian Academy of Education, DSci, Professor at KFU. It is published quarterly.

The Editor-in-chief is Dr Nick Rushby who is a visiting professor at the Institute of Psychology and Education at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

E&SD publishes original research papers in the following areas:

• The theory and practice of education and self-development
• Developmental psychology
• Quality improvement of educational systems
• The theory and methodology of vocational education
• The competence approach to education and self-development
• The social and cultural issues in learner development
• Multicultural education
• The psychological and pedagogical issues in personality development and self-development
• International perspectives on education and psychology

The Journal publishes contributions in both Russian and English. All contributions have titles, keywords and abstracts in both languages.
